Kate Sullivan and Bill Leary have experienced progressive dreams all their lives. The dreams are about a man and woman who look just like them, but lived in a different time. Lizzie and Connor are married in 1912, and on their first honeymoon night, die in a hotel fire. Kate and Bill dreamt about these other people since they were kids, but when they die in the final dream both of them are very sad.
It isn’t until after the final dream that they meet for the first time and recognize each other from the dreams. They have to join forces solve the puzzle of the dreams and figure out if Lizzie and Connor were murdered.
Through hypnosis they connect with the other couple and have to determine if the feelings that are developing for each other are from their hearts or from the couple in the dream.
