Time travel was not in her job description.

Emery Parker can hardly believe her luck. She’s landed the museum internship of her dreams: working with a collection of ancient Scottish swords. But when she finds herself locked in a stone room of weapons that look brand new, she demands to know what kind of game is being played.

Laird Luthias MacRoss has never believed the legend of the Fire Sword. But the appearance of a young lass in his armory changes his mind. Not only does she possess the delicate beauty of the Fae, she holds their sword in her hand.

But as her purpose slowly becomes clear and their torrid attraction blossoms, Luthias finds he must choose between his heart and the good of his clan.

Interesting story line but the virtual voice is distracting. I might continue reading, not listening.

Can not take the computer generated voice. With no inflection, flat syllables (listen to hear what I mean) it made it very painful to listen to. I only stuck it out because I genuinely enjoyed the story. Too bad it's part of this experiment.

Computer voice is NOT for me

I’m not liking the computer generated voice, because I can pick up on the mechanical inflections in the voice. I think it takes away from the story.

Hazel Hunter is a favorite author of mine, so I totally expected to enjoy this book. Sadly, I couldn't even finish listening to it due to the AI narrator.
It's hard to listen to mispronounced words as well as not being able to distinguish between characters. I'm truly not sure what the book was about. What a waste of my credit. Sorry, Hazel Hunter.

the heroin and the hero, took the whole premise of time travel completely calm. As if it was an everyday occurrence. Then everyone except the heros brother ( who happens to be the war chiefian) excepts that this woman just showed up from 700 years in the future. Even with a 900 year old prophecy, it was a bit unbelievable. Then the whole Virtual Voice Translator.... well it was awful, monotoned with no emotion or deviation from one character to the other. My 10 year old granddaughter reads aloud with more enthusiasm then this audio book. And I think the story lost so much of my attention simply from the narration ... For what they charge for audio books, one would think they would hire real people to perform them.
