Brilliant cast of characters

Loved the description of Asian atmosphere. I felt as though I were there and part of the tide of people of the Far East. it's very simple to get into that feeling in Needhams books. He has an ability to swoop the reader off their feet and allow them to become one with the captivating story and culture.

The story line and pursuit of the murdered

. I loved the story line and especially the main character. A wonderful series but ok to read the books out of sequence as well.

Solid storyline and excellent narration

I enjoyed Detective Tay's character development. Narration performance was very good. I was curious about Claire and would have enjoyed knowing more

Another great Inspector Tay novel!

The author continues with the same characters in this book which I love. I hope there are many more to come. I was surprised by the fact I didn’t mind the book was read by AI having bad experiences in the past. I highly recommend all of this author’s books. I’m a fan for life.
