This is not only a moving love story but also the story of one man’s journey. We hear firsthand his emotional search, discovery, and experiences to reach his life goals.

The author, R.B.K., creatively tells the story of his life’s journey and discoveries in deliberate and careful vividness. We experience his emotions – doubt, fear, wonder, love, etc. through his eyes. He is consistent with his writing style and does not give in to fantastic side stories or embellishments.

The narrator, David Van Der Molen, performs the book in a clear concise style with steady cadence and delivery. He speaks clearly and keeps the story moving forward.

This is an interesting book by a first-time author and a genre I do not often review. The writing style is solid, raw, and genuine; the narration is well done; and the emotional connection between the author and his story is almost tangible.

There were no issues with the quality or production of this audiobook.
