This collection of seven short tales are all loosely based on episodes from my own life over the last few years. Of course I’ve changed names and locations, adapted situations to make things less bland to read. Each represents a significant point in what, I’ll admit, has been a difficult few years for me both mentally and financially.

The reason for bringing all of these tales together like this is that they don’t really fit in with my other fiction writings. Indeed, each of these was written in response to emotions that I couldn’t lock away and needed an outlet, despair, loss, fear. Each tale was written quickly, the very act of writing a cathartic act in itself.

I would like to think that I’m past the need for these outpourings but never say never right? I hope you enjoy reading these stories and that you will forgive the slightly quirky styles within.
