A tell-all memoir by the star of MTV's The Hills and E4's Made in Chelsea.

Stephanie Pratt is the consummate reality star. Since 2007 her life has been lived almost as much on the small screen as off it and constantly analysed in gossip columns.

In Made in Reality, Stephanie gives an exclusive insight into the trials and tribulations of life on reality TV, taking us behind the scenes of The Hills, Made in Chelsea and even the Big Brother house.

Nothing is off-limits, from the drama of her relationship with Spencer Matthews to her issues with her brother, Spencer Pratt.

But there is more to Stephanie than the glamour of Beverly Hills and the Kings Road. For the first time, she shares her struggles with drug addiction, eating disorders, and the pressures of fame in the Internet age. Inspiring, fascinating and insightful throughout, this is an honest account of the truth behind reality.

This is the worst narration I've heard on Audible. I liked the book for the most part but the narration was just so off it distracted from the story. Felt like a first read through.

Bad Narration

I really enjoyed the story. Hated Samantha’s narration…Stephanie should have done it. Don’t understand all the English writing and slang references when you’re not English. Even my English friends don’t say Van Nuueeez jail….that’s a new one😂. Regardless , found her story very entertaining and worth the purchase. Good job!

Good story

I am about half way through the story and I can't stand Samantha Coughlin's narration. Her pronunciation is poor and inconsistent. I am going to finish it but once she starts to act out being intoxicated, I want to turn it off!

Stephanie Pratt should have Narratted

Oof, this narrator. If I weren’t so interested in Stephanie’s story—which included details about her upbringing, meth addiction, love life, eating disorder, and reality tv career that were previously unknown to me—I don’t think I could have finished this. The reader’s cadence and emphasis is completely off, and it’s extremely noticeable...At times I found myself realizing that I wasn’t actually paying attention to the story because I was so distracted by the way that a sentence had been read! Her voice was pleasant enough, but she emphasized the strangest things; it was like she was randomly inserting punctuation into the material that didn’t exist and that made no sense. Didn’t love that. It helped to listen to it on a speed of at least 1.2x, but the narration was definitely still a distraction.

Poor narration, but an interesting, juicy memoir!

Entertaining, but this book seems to have not even been proofread. There are grammatical errors and many redundant words. To make matters worse, the narrator pronounced many words incorrectly.

Ehh.
