It Just Keeps Getting Better!

Oh. My. Gosh. What an incredible continuation of this series!!!!! It was SO good! I have no idea how KF Breene continues to build on this story and constantly make it better, but SHE DOES. I know it seems like 12 books and counting is a lot, and you may think that the story must be dragging by now, but it’s NOT. I actually think that Magical Midlife Rogue might be one of the best in the series. The Ivy House Crew hasn’t lost a single step and we, as listeners, get to know them so much better in this one. All of our favorite found family is here, but we also get to know our new “recruits”. I don’t believe in giving spoilers during reviews, so I won’t, but that being said... Magical Midlife Rogue jumps straight into the action! I do mean straight in! There are alpha challenges, mage battles, all of the things! The action level is excellent, but the humor is still where it’s at. I love KF Breene’s ability to be silly, snarky and sarcastic, and then flip the script in the next second and make your heart feel all gooey and warm. She is a master at her craft and shows it in every chapter. Nicole Poole has got to be one of the most talented narrators I've ever listened to, as well. Her characterizations have ruined the written word for me LOL! I don't know what she comes up with so many unique voices and styles, but she never disappoints! Kudos to you, Ms Poole! 5 STARS all around from me, for sure. I can’t wait until the next one!!!

Funniest of them all!

I've loved this series from the beginning. When a new book comes out it's the highlight of my month. This book outdid every one of my expectations by a long shot. I laughed so many times it was ridiculous (in an awesome way)! KF Breene is my all time favorite author, for good reasons. I love the new addition to the team so much, all of his reactions to the Ivy House crew were hilarious. Thank you KF Breene, your work makes so many people giddy!

WOW! Just Wow!

This series is truly amazing and just keeps getting better with interesting plot twists and new characters. The thing about K F Breene is she includes so much imagery that you can actually visualize the scenery and people. On top of all of that, the humor and mental games that Niahm orchestrates make me laugh out loud. My husband always knows when I'm listening to these books because I rarely laugh at books. Jessie and Austin are continuing their work of accumulating allies to eventually fight Momar and the Guild. Jessie is getting to the point of fully embracing her position/power and ready to show the gargoyles who's boss. Screw status, she is the Queen. I know this post may seems random, but there is so much packed into this book that it's hard to pin down any particular part. I am chomping at the but for the next book. November can't come soon enough!

Queen Breene has done it again

This series always makes me laugh, smile, cry, and cheer on the characters. I loved everything about this book. Tristan's hero speech was chefs kiss. Exciting plans have been made and I can't wait for the next book!
