Wolves raised in the wild are not inherently dangerous to humans. The wolf usually avoids people. Seventeen-thousand wolves live in Europe. Wolf encounters are very rare. When wolves sense that humans, a potential threat, are in the area, they usually retreat quickly and quietly. However, humans may arouse the interest of wolves, and wolves may observe humans closely. Puppies, in particular, are very curious. Basically, one should keep calm when encountering wolves.
- Great for kids and adults!
