Love Pirates

I saved this audio until I could afford the series. I love pirates and have always been fascinated with the history of Savannah. Colton was so dreamy and I’m glad he learned but the true meaning of living was all about.

A fun, sexy ,pirate read

I love everything about this spicy pirate ☠️ read. Colton & Skye are a match predicted in the past. Can he woo her into his arms and keep her there?

Really Enjoyed This Book

The concept is fun, reminiscent of Indiana Jones mixed with Pirates of the Caribbean. It is also short which is a good thing given how fast things developed between the two characters. Even the love scenes were kinda quick, although I would have preferred the first wasn't as it sets the tone for the relationship.

The one really weird thing is the ending. It is kind of abrupt. She learns the truth, gets on board with the plan to find the missing cup, then we jump to her shop and it is over. There are a few of these in the book where you expect some build up. In the end, there should have been a little more about what she saw, then a cliffhanger into the next book, but this kind of got lost. There was more of a focus on their quick romance and not the mystery behind the missing cup or who would be next to fall in love. I think the author could have expanded a bit more so it felt less cutesy and more mysterious/suspenseful.
