Found family is one of my favourite book tropes, and the way the three best friends in these three books are there for each other was one of my favourite things about this series. I also loved how the men they fall in love with become part of that group, supporting each other just like the women do.

His Holiday Pact is a Thanksgiving/Christmas fake-relationship romance where Kayla and Carter agree to pretend to be together to satisfy their respective families. Both characters had realistic reasons for wanting to bring a significant other home and I loved how Carter fell for Kayla.

Her Valentine Surprise has another of my favourite tropes - the male virgin! Sam was such a sweetheart, although his actions that lead to the main conflict in the story were difficult for me to get over. Once again, Joy's understanding proved vital in saving the relationship. I did like how both characters addressed the issue immediately when something bothered them.

Her Patriotic Prince is a secret baby romance, which normally is NOT one of my favourite tropes. It also annoyed me a bit that Laura stayed celibate during their time apart while Adam didn't, but these are personal preferences. Once again, the characters were good at communicating and worked out their issues like mature adults, which is refreshing.

The duet narration for the whole series was fantastic, and I especially enjoyed Adam's North Carolina accent. I didn't want the books to end!

I have a longish commute to work everyday so it is a wonderful way to keep “reading” and make my drive much more pleasurable

Love it
