A good book,but...

This was a good book to listen to but I feel like something is missing.I will continue to do research on Mr. Garvey. The person reading had a pleasant sounding voice.

great book

narrator had whistle echo but read it with enthusiasm. A history lesson that's needed.

More than expected

I am currently on my own journey for knowledge about the history of my people. The quote "A people with knowledge of their past, history and culture is like a tree without roots". One love

I liked it, but wanted more!

Very interesting biography, but much too short. I like brevity, but would have liked a deeper dive into this influential man. I liked that the bio did not shrink from all the controversies. Great voice artist.

A very good read

Having just finished his book I really enjoyed it. He gave me a good perspective on Marcus Garvey’s life. Who the man was and also how he related to others men of history that I heard about it was really fascinating.
