Very addicting series.

If your a Roman History buff you will enjoy this as multiple Legion attempt to maintain bases in Gaul. Exciting war and at action packed. Makes ya feel like you were there. Love it!

Well written and narrated

Particularly well written for anyone who read Caesar’s Gaullist Wars. It is realistic enough to portray Caesar’s disastrous decisions.

Listening is like meeting an old friend!

I read these books years ago when I was Active Duty.... Fronto inspired me to be the best MSgt I could be in the USAF, The Narrator makes all my Favorite characters come to life. Thank you for this. This retired Airman sits back with good wine and smoke and listens🤘SKOL!

Refreshingly good

There are some poor Roman series but this is close to the historical record and well written. Only one complaint - I wince each time the author has his main character advise and correct Caesar on important strategic and tactical decisions. I understand this is Turneys only revisionist foible but it it not only implausible but illogical and tends to spoil an otherwise interesting and convincing narrative. However the series is excellent. Recommended.
