A New York police officer who is on a speaking engagement in Britain finds time to visit the Dartmoor environs. As a nuts-and-bolts detective, events occur on the moors that test his sanity and reason.

Adventure

A former New York Police Officer, who was wounded on the job buy a gunshot is asked to speak in Cambridge, UK . He is a little bit too much into "The Hound of the Baskervilles". Do to physical plant problems, he has extra time to waste, so he heads to Dartmoor, and the horror begins.

Unexpectedly amazing

I thought I would dislike a story that treated the Holmes canon as merely fiction, and one set in “modern” (80s) day. But to my surprise it’s an amazing story that every fan of Hounds, Holmes, and mysteries should read or listen to.
