An electrical substation takes two years to build; but, Lux Kringle has 365 days to install one at the North Pole or Christmas Magic will overload the factory and send them back to the Dark Ages. Find out what happens in this electrifying holiday romance novel from USA Today Bestselling Author Lucy McConnell.

The one man on the planet with the know-how, the education, and the time to help Lux finish the substation before the Noel deadline is also the man who sends sparks through her heart and surges through her power system.

Matthew Quik is a former military scientist hiding out from foreign agents who would like him to truly disappear. Lucky for him, Lux found him first. Although he has no intentions of falling in love, Lux is a puzzle Matthew just has to figure out. Which is why he agrees to a fake marriage.

If Lux falls for her fake husband and creates a power overload, she could blow up Santa’s workshop before she has a chance to save it. If she doesn't kiss him, she’ll never know if he’s her one true love.

With the Christmas deadline looming, converting magic to electricity is the easy part because these two have a romance as complicated as calculus and as dangerous as dynamite.

I love the Kringle family and the sisters. Lux is different and her life is fascinating. She had to visit Quick to see if he would help her with the North Pole substation and it was interesting and humorous. Love this story.
