the theme

has a good premise i thought it was fun I will hear the next book

Amazing

I love this book so much and the narration is absolutely amazing I can’t wait for the next one!

6.5/10 for me.

I was into the story at first (Mashle) but had some problems for me personally.


First it has way to much damsel in distress with the girls.

Second The time is broken up so much between them i didnt feel like i knew them.

Third He gets away without magic to easily.

Finally he keeps finding abilities that will find his grandfather but then a new one appears and it will be the one to do it. even with so much time thats passed. its just way to implausible. With the power scaling confusing.

Now dont get me wrong it has potential and im hoping book 2 resolves some of the issues I have personally.

Magic world

really into the themes this touches on, opened very slowly but glad I stuck with it really engaging rest of the way - well into book 2 already as I write this. You will get really attached to the characters involved.

Going on my favorites list

If you like books were the MC bucks the traditional norms you will like this book. Some excellent fight scenes, great in depth, discussion of martial arts, and mysticism, and a solid ending that makes you want more. Five stars all the way around.
