While attempting to rescue a young orphan, Maxwell Flynn becomes separated from his brother and the rest of the small group of persecuted Christians. Grace Winslow, distraught at the loss of Max and Jonah, is forced to make a tough decision: stay with the group, or go search for the two missing members?

Since they lost their sanctuary camp in the Canadian wilderness, the group’s struggle for basic survival grows more challenging by the day. Where can they hide? How will they find safe water? When will they have their next meal?

The believers press on, determined to seek safe shelter from society’s storms. They find themselves battered at every turn, but they cling to their faith and their fellowship. How long can they go on? Will they live to see tomorrow?

Leonor Woodworth's calm narration let's the story unfold naturally, as it should. Lots of action happens for the entire group as they make their way away from their original camp. Grace is a bit too weepy too often without having seen the outcomes of separations in the group. Thankfully those end quickly. Problem with that is that while she's weeping so hard, normal physical reactions kick in, like being unable to see through tears, causing stumbles, collisions, falling and unnecessary injuries. Wouldn't be so bad if she at least seemed to learn from these things, but she doesn't. That's 1/2 the missing star. The other missing 1/2 also due to Grace. Max is standing up for everyone, bold and courageous even in spite of injury, yet as soon as he returns to her, Grace tears into him as if he should be able to take on 8 fully armed and trained soldiers, alone, with only a pocketknife. Doesn't matter that he saved a young child, was injured, separated from the group and desperate to get back to his young brother and her. Somehow his inability to save the day for everyone is insufficient. Her lack of gratefulness is intensely disappointing!! There is always going to be something that doesn't go exactly the way we'd like it to because YHWH has a Plan and HIS Plans supercede ours. No, we don't understand HIS Ways sometimes, but to constantly blame those around us who love us ...that also love HIM, is destructive!! Grace tries, succeeds and fails, gets sick and hurt, yet never blames herself. Nor does Max blame her. Her aunt doesn't make any effort to correct or even challenge Grace's thought processes so she can do better, nor does Pastor Price.

Love the fact that the group comes together to pray and how YHWH'S provision is shown. If there's another book I hope my issues with Grace are addressed. No one is perfect, but with YHWH-fearing elders around, we should be getting at least some guidance. Otherwise very well done.

Loved the characters, and the storyline. This author does a good job in end times fiction.

Great read

Well, this is a good, wholesome, clean, and pretty interesting story. However, the idea of the Tribulation was an excuse to write a love story. It doesn't discuss the Tribulation in much detail. Just a lot about the flight of the main characters. It's good, and I'd recommend it. Just listen, knowing that it's more of a love story than a story about the end times.

Good story. But, the Tribulation?

Loved all 3 books. I was worried how it was going to end when I saw no 4th book. It ended perfectly and gave me Song of Solomon Chapter 1 vs 15-18 for my wedding

from the beginning of the first book I was hooked on the story. from Maxwell Flynn to Grace Winslow to Joel and his pony to Dan and Kathy the story was amazing and it seems like they went from one problem after another in the book titled sinners. The author did an awesome job with this series.

I can do anything through Christ that gives me str
