Elizabeth's parents and two of her sisters are dead. So is Mr.Gardner. Elizabeth is serving as the head of the Bennet/Gardner families and is running a tea room in order to earn money. She masquerades as a man in order for people to respect the business. When Darcy meets Elizabeth, in her man disguise, he is concerned because he is attracted to her. He is relieved when the truth that she is NOT a "he" is revealed. Wickham, Collins, Lady Catherine, and Caroline Bingley are all involved in the story and are as hateful and mean as usual.

Lots goes on in the book and all is tied up nicely in the end. Virtual Voice is not so great.

Different but good

The idea for the book was very good but the execution was uneven. Everything was wrapped up nicely in the end. The narration was flat and there were a couple of odd glitches along the way. As generally happens in a novel by Ms Schertz, the bad guys get theirs which is very satisfying.

Interesting idea
