I don't like the monotonous tone, specially in the parts where it only reads the spelling aloud without the meaning and example sentence.

Highly effective vocabulary learning method

How should I begin with this one, oh man? I've been studying hard for the GRE, and I have to admit that the vocabulary section was giving me nightmares. Then I happened upon this audiobook, and it completely changed my perspective. It's not your normal word-for-word snooze fest, to start. They genuinely employ these phrases in memorable statements and narratives. Who knew that studying vocabulary could be enjoyable?

I've been listening to it on my commute, and it's incredible how much more I can recall just because the words are connected to wacky or fascinating tales. It is as though they infiltrate your mind and make themselves at home. Not to mention, I've noticed that I use a few of these terms in my regular conversations, which is really awesome.
