Excelent book

This book is packed with a lot of valuable ideas you can implement right away to improve your finances immediately.

Masterpiece

One of the greatest books on handling your money ever written. There is a reason this has stood the test of 30 years! This is sound financial advice rooted in a Biblical worldview. Unlike many other Christian financial books, this is not legalistic and relies on the fact that it's all God's money and every person's situation is different and the best way to know what to do is to pray over it and listen to God. This is something IMO every Christain should read annually. This is true stewardship.

Sound Biblical Principles for Finances

A lot of great information! Being an audio book, some parts were tough to focus on because of the nature of the information. For example, when author is reading charts and graphs it was hard to follow along. I found that skipping some of these portions helped me to get back into the main topic of the book. I plan to buy a physical copy in order to review these portions more in depth. Overall, the book was very informative and I highly recommend to anyone looking for financial wisdom!

Like Dave Ramsey, but better

Arguably the best book out there on personal financial planning from an explicitly Biblical perspective. Much more even keeled from Dave Ramsey’s often-arrogant tone.

Not great for audio

Although there are aspects of this book that I really enjoyed, the thing I didn't like was that charts and graphs are read out loud. There would be 20 minutes of reading out spreadsheets line by line that I would had to skip over. Obviously these are meant to be viewed visually.
My suggestion if you're interested in this book, have the physical book for visual reference too.
