I liked the story

the AI reader was okay, but it didn't understand emotions or questions. it was odd listening to them being intimate with a a voice that had a happy disconnection.

Story is good, virtual voice still needs help

We all know that any book with virtual voice is challenging to listen to at best. I did however think that it wasn’t horrible when it came to this book. There was a line in the book that made me burst into laughter, and I’m not sure if it was meant to be read the way the virtual voice read it but I died laughing. The story was decent. This was my first time listening to this author, and after listening to this book I will look to see what else is out there. This book is very short so everything happens quickly, because of this you don’t really have time to get to know each character and be invested in the story. But I was looking for a quick listen and this was entertaining.
