This book made me laugh, cry a little, and then laugh again. Another well written book by Milly Taiden. The narrator is animated and that made the book just more interesting. I can't wait to hear or more this author's next books.

Funny and adorable.

I think the things I enjoyed most about this book were Amerella's interactions with the town and the community of the townspeople. She so quickly befriended the people just by being herself. She was able to help so many people in so many ways, from improving women's self confidence and sexual prowess to improving businesses. I loved how the town embraced her as a result and how they were willing to go to bat for her. She didn't have ulterior motives or expect anything in return for what she did. She thought her time there would be temporary, but she gave so much regardless. She breathed new life into the town and its people, setting them up to once again flourish.

Making a big difference without trying.

Nice balance of life in a shifter town, crime drama and paranormal villains. Excellent voice acting.

I’m normally a fan of Milly Taiden books but oh my god the character Amy is this story is SO painfully oblivious. I hated her character and how long it took her to put two and two together. Made me grind my teeth in frustration most of the book.

Female character drove me nuts
