When she discovers a set of letters hidden near a stream behind her mansion, she starts piecing together a romance that is completely at odds with the nightmare that she used to call her life - a nightmare that she seems to have endured for the sake of her lavish lifestyle.

She learns the truth of what caused her car accident and put her in a coma, but will she have the courage to leave behind the riches she'd grown accustomed to? Will she have the courage to stand up for the life she really deserves?

Pretty Good for a short story

I enjoyed it for the most part. The plot thickens immediately and I wondered if it was all "Dark days" and when the HEA would come or if it would. It came in the last three minutes. The narrator was pretty good too.
