Women are like spaghetti, because their thought process runs on and on in an interconnecting web, and men are like waffles because they compartmentalize and "sit" in sometimes blank boxes, just to relax.©2007 Bill Farrel & Pam Farrel (P)2008 Oasis Audio Marriage & Long-Term Partnerships Christian Living Family Relationships Marriage & Relationships Christianity Love, Dating & Attraction Gender Studies Inspiring Psychology & Mental Health Social Sciences Psychology

great book overall, however many of the proposed solution s fall under the religious context, the reading girl sometimes lower her voice for longer period of times, making it a bit distracted... I enjoyed the book

good point of view, great tips, however

This is an incredibly insightful book on communication in marriage. It’s great for understanding how each other thinks and operates differently. Love the humor and stories!

Outstanding

This will teach both sides the keys to loving and living with the other well. Don't miss it!

Must read for every spouse!

Good bits of information in the book. Heavy Christian overtones and the book seems a bit older for 2022. Overall, good fundamentals and information in there. I would rate it as a beginner's level guide, into the journey of relationships.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Not the first book I'd recommend for understanding men and/or women.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

I only went about half way through the book. Once they started giving dating tips, they lost me. I really enjoyed the beginning and the examples of how men and women are different. There were some great stories and analogies. But it seems when they were done explaining, they were done... I, personally, don't need the marriage dating advice (at least not now), I was needing the 'how can we understand our differences and get past the disagreements about our differences'.

What didn’t you like about Bill Farrel and Pam Farrel ’s performance?

I really did not enjoy them as narrators.

Do you think Men Are Like Waffles Women Are Like Spaghetti needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

I think they need to stick with the premise of what the differences are and how we can manage them in everyday life. And add how the differences of parenting a waffle or spaghetti would be different for the opposite gender parent. That would have been more helpful to me than dating tips!

Not Really what I expected
