Menger Bites the Bird

Phan wants The Nice-Nice burned to the ground with Kundo in it - and Phan also has a special fate in mind for The Bird, encouraging Menger to indulge in his very specific, very violent fixation (fans of Gray Lake will understand)....

super quick short story

Obviously this is part of a series that I haven't heard but it was a fully flushed short story although the narrator sounded like he was recording in his bathroom.

The first time I read this story was in David Bain's Newsletter, "friends Of Bain". And, the first time I met Mike Menger was in Bain's excellent novel, Gray Lake. I liked this character straight away. I do love a good baddie, and Dave is very good at writing baddies! I really like Curt Campbell's narration work, and he's made this story so much fun to listen to. He's very good at making the different character's very distinct. If you love a good tale, with great narration, this is one to try.

The story was okay but it sounded like the narrator recorded it in a closet. Received audio for free in exchange for my honest review.
