After another girl, this one working as a mermaid at a theme park, drowns, Sean O'Brien becomes involved because the daughter of his close friend may be the next victim, and O'Brien knows there are no coincidences or illusions when it comes to murder.

Good story

The story was good, but I think it is not as good with the new "narrator." He does not narrate. He reads the book. I could have gotten the book from Amazon and had Alexa read it.

Narrator

The narrator of this book Reads well but as far as now reading a book every character sounds the same you have to break up the characters voice this narrator does not do that as far as reading the story It is very very bland I will not listen to this narrator again

Wow! Changing narrators is hard on the listener, but this change also changed the characters as well.🙁

Mermaid

This is another great book by one of my favorite authors.
The only thing that could have made it better would be if it was narrated by the previous person that did most of the others. I miss hearing Nick’s voice and how he calls Max “hotdog”. Each character their own personality and you knew them as soon as he spoke in their own voice.

Another good yarn

I didn’t object to the new narrator as much as so many others seem to have, but I must say that I missed Nick’s distinctive Greek-flavored voice. I have listened to the next book (with the same narrator) and he corrected his mistake.

I’m not sure that I like Sean O’Brien being so much in love, but he certainly deserves it, and the relationship is starting to grow on me. It’s very important that Wynona love Max as much as Sean does, and that is a sure thing!
