Preston Rice and Birdie Stanfield both lived in an assisted living facility and neither one could stand the other! Birdie constantly complained that Preston cheated at the weekly Bingo games and butted in line when it was time to go to their daily meals! Preston complained that Birdie chewed with her mouth open and spread gossip every chance she could!

Their children, Richard Stanfield and Liz Rice, dreaded their weekly visits because it was nothing but listening to hours of nonstop complaining. Even the assisted living staff were getting frustrated with the constant bickering between Preston and Birdie...and decided one day to lock the dining room leaving them together! To the staff's surprise, after several hours, the two gave up and began to talk to each other like decent human beings. One thing led to another...and they soon decided to get even with their children for putting them into this facility by doing some Christmas matchmaking!
