Sleep should be a refuge. For him, it’s a trap. Every time he closes his eyes, the world shifts. A photo frame shows a different smile. A rug changes color. His partner Rae dreams of places and moments she swears she’s never told him about—yet he remembers them as if he was there beside her. At first she laughs it off. Then she stops laughing. As the nights pass, dreams and waking bleed together. Shared memories that never happened.
