So fun and charming - these books are great for listening to french and not boring!!

Great characters cute humorous observations, and a lot of references that are wonderfully familiar to Americans. I enjoy that, while these books are short and the plots are relatively simple, they are well-written, charming, and actually contain interesting details, characters, and little vignettes of life with useful vocab. It's not at all the kind of miserably boring or generic content often given to beginner language learners. Keep writing France Dubin, you're doing such a great service for us learners! For more intermediate listeners, I suggest putting the recording at 1.2+ speed as they are read aloud quite slowly for beginners to understand. (Don't worry, it doesn't sound odd sped up!)
