Cute hipster and interior designer Michael doesn't do love - not after his ex screwed him over. Great story, and love the snarky comments!

Love the chemistry! The pets are funny, and story keeps you on your toes. Great!

Great Read

I loved this book. I do feel like there was some unanswered questions, but all in all it was a great read.

Irritating MC

I'm irritated with the story because Michael is such a horrible person and treats Gill like crap for almost 3/4 of the story that I just don't even want to listen to the book anymore. I've got about 3 hours left of this book and I can't stand Michael I don't care what's happened to him in the past no one deserves to be treated like he treats the other MC Gil. He's not likable at all, and he's got no endearing qualities. I always try and finish listening to the books I start but it's more difficult with each minute that goes by. I haven't been a huge fan of Michael Pauley in the past but is cadence and pacing have really improved so I applaud him.

Michael, Reinvented

I loved this second book as much as I love the first one in the series. Read the books in the appropriate order! Whether you read the book or listen to it, you definitely should! And of course Michael does a terrific job with the narration.

Good series

I enjoyed this story and the narration. The only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars was getting subdural and subdermal confused. Medical errors are a pet peeve of mine.
Other than that, it was great. Michael and Gil are both easy to like. I like that we still got a good amount of the ongoing story between David and Jackson.
I will definitely get the next in the series.
