Angela Beaumont is looking for a quieter, less-stressful lifestyle. Her job as a nurse in a trauma center in a big city hospital has left her burned out, and she decides to return to her hometown of Ames Crossing. However, before she can even unpack, she happens across an accident scene, and is on hand to save a man’s life.
Ryder Desroches is tall, blonde, outrageously handsome and causes heads to turn wherever he goes. While he adores the ladies, true love it seems...has been elusive. After his motorcycle accident, he becomes fascinated with the red-haired angel who saved him.
Angela has no time for Ryder Desroches, but fate keeps throwing them together, and she begins to see him in a new light. Unfortunately for Angela, the ghosts on the Marquette mansion property are restless, and one of them seems determined to communicate with her. While she is a daughter of Midnight, Angela is still new to the world of witchcraft. It’s going to take all of her strength, help from a few new friends, and drawing upon her heritage to deal with a terrifying haunting and an epic romance all at the same time.
