Mari

Mari doesn’t sound right or the voice doesn’t. In the book he’s feisty and sassy. This voice sounds whiny. I love Sara Bourgeois books but the wrong voice can ruin it for me.

What Happened?

I liked the first one so i bought the second (out of pocket not with credits). i am two chapters in and I am not enjoying this and I cant even return it. The story is awful! The author has made choices that conflict with what made the FMC likable to begin with. And the predictability of the mustery put a poor taste in mouth. The voice-acting is also subpar. The voice isn't different enough from one character to the next. I CAN'T TELL WHO IS SPEAKING! Don't take my word for it. Listen for yourself and see if you can get past chapter two. Just use your credits so YOU can return it.
