Highly recommended

I really wasn’t able to put it down. From the first page until the last I was completely into the story. It wasn’t as complicated as Some stories, no additional side stories and clear characters. I loved it and it ends with a real cliffhanger. And the narrator was very good. The story really flows I recommend it. Buy the book, you won’t be sorry.

A good start

A great listen. It was easy to become invested in the characters and what happens to them. Great listen with plenty of action and drama.

Awesome Book

This book was awesome! I have to say at first I had no clue what was going on and I was worried I was going to get into it. Then, bam I was hooked. The author did a great job with the world building.

Great Young Readers Fantasy

This book is a must read for Readers starting to get into epic Fantasy. Great story, and character development! The excitement of the Narrator is addictive although I admit as an adult, the laughs did get annoying after a while. I won't hold that against it! if you want an exciting, more futuristic read that still has MAGIC this is a read for you! What will happen in the story of Max Starheart?!?!

The World of Warcraft meets Star Wars

A story of a greedy emperor turning himself evil and even more powerful using black magic in pursuit of ruling and destroying all, invading surrounding kingdoms (hmmm, what do you call a city with a king as the ruler?) while a small party of mostly magic-wielders stands in resistance, culminating in an epic warship battle. Do they even stand a chance against the biggest and strongest ship ever built with an evil emperor at the helm..? * Definitely worth a listen. * The narrator is amazing, truly gave it his all, well done.
