Sure, I'd just said no—to a load of handsome men on a reality show designed to find me a husband, but I didn't want any of them.

I don't want Miles either—at least, I think I don't. It's the perfect scenario because, unlike all those guys on that show, he doesn't want me either. No broken hearts.

Can't we all just play nice? A convenient, image-building marriage without all the bitter rejection? That's all I'm asking.

But Delaney never mentioned how very difficult those rules would be to follow. She makes them difficult. If I'd known I wasn't just entering a marriage of convenience, but a defcon two marriage, I may have thought twice before slipping that gold band on her finger.

Marry the girl. Check.

Be seen with the girl. Check.

Don't fall in love with the girl. Crap.

Swoony, sweet romance!

Jen does it again! Miles Bailey might be my favorite Bailey yet. I love how he taught Delaney what real love and family looks like

I love this book so much! Cannot recommend it enough. Clean and sweet but still swoony and full of love. Miles is my favorite!

Cute marriage of convenience

I totally loved this book and hearing the audio was so cool. I loved the acting especially because this one is a little more heavy than the other books.

Worth re reading, several times

Man I love Miles! He is a great MMC/book boyfriend.
He is Not perfect but close (to me). He doesn’t fight with contention, he fights with perseverance, kindness, honesty and, a fist (when necessary-that one time. He has learned his lesson though. Next time he will use pepper spray).
The FMC is floundering but very brave. She is going for her dreams and trying very hard to stay true to her heart. And her heart told her she didn’t want to be on that reality show- so she got out. And is now facing the consequences.
I love how out going she is. How impulsive but with good intent and some thought.
You just want to kick her mother over a tall cliff. Holy selfish and manipulative Batman! Narcissist much? I totally think the grandma should kick her out, keep the little sister (who I am pretty sure is of age to decide where she wants to live)
That part seems both flimsy and too close to reality for some people.
*spoiler alert *. ..
I am not a fan of the miscommunication trope or the third act break up- so I really appreciated that this book didn’t have that.
Really modeled good relationship skills!
