In a future world, life is tightly controlled by the all-powerful PareCo. Standing out from the crowd is dangerous so misfit Luna hides her secrets carefully, not realising her own power. Unlike her friends and family, Luna has never been able to plug into Realtime, PareCo's virtual world, where almost everyone now lives their lives. So how do PareCo know about Luna, and why do they want her for their elite think tank?
The truth is hidden in a web of shining silver secrets, and the corrupt authorities would do anything to keep it that way. Can Luna find a way to use her own hidden powers and bring the truth to light before it's too late?

Critic reviews
A complex and futuristic thriller that, even at a hefty 433 pages, will leave you wanting more...another stunning example of Teri Terry doing what she does best
A gripping thriller.
The plot's twists and turns keep the reader guessing until the end
I liked this book a lot ... I would recommend this book to anyone who likes Teri Terry's other books or The Hunger Games (Charlies Hunter, Liberton High)
Review (Yolanda Stefsos)
stupidly good

The entire story is wonderfully crafted and the universe so fleshed out - yet it leaves a lot unspoken and up to the reader's interpretation. During the story I got frustrated with how Luna kept missing the *obvious* etc, but after further contemplation I came to the realization I would probably act in a similar manner. The voice actor did an incredible job.
To put into perspective how good of a book this is, I bought it at around 9pm because I wanted something to listen to before going to bed - I ended up listening to the entire thing and went to sleep at 7am. It's that addictive!
The only "negative" things I have to say about the book is that it's all a very nice pace, and then comes the ending with so much happening that you're sure to be at least a little confused. It unravels at the speed of light and you end up in different places very fast. There were also around 3 (?) parts where editing missed stuff, like lines being flubbed, or spoken twice, but it was so rare you barely notice it.
I'd definitely recommend this to teens around 15-18, or literally anyone wanting a good time. It deals with mature themes, and I'd like to revisit it another 5 years down the line.
Wonderful story and universe - rushed ending
