Love this couple

Another great story by Emily. I LOVED this couple! Anastasia and Damon’s relationship was everything. They have great banter and love for one another- and the dog. The spice was nice 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Narrators Elisabeth Knight and Finnley Cole nailed this one again with their chemistry.

Great angst and romance

(Banter+Tension+Angst) +(Mystery + Suspense +Action) =A spicy, enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity mafia romance between a fierce protector and his mob princess charge. This mafia bodyguard romance was stellar! I was infatuated with Damon and Anastasia’s initial spark to their steamy romance…her innocence, his patience and protectiveness! Their relationship development coupled with the fast-paced mafia related action (and a cute Pomeranian that runs the show) created a quick, intriguing plot that had me flying through this.
I had the pleasure to experience Book Two of the Blood and Bourbon series on audio. The dual narration of Elisabeth Knight and Finnley Cole did a fantastic job voicing the sweet and innocent Ana and the gruff and guarded Damon, respectively. Their dynamic was engaging and overall a compelling production.
Overall 4.25 stars!
