Great read

a little slow with a bit much filler, but overall excellent mystery. Should be a TV series!

I was disappointed by the ending. The narrator was excellent, but I thought the story could have been better.

Historical Fiction Mystery That Delivers

There are a lot fun historical details and classic mystery plot twists in this book that I enjoyed.

Wow! This book delivers!

Miss Aldridge Regrets has all the earmarks of a first rate Christie-like mystery. Whole lots of books attempt this feat, Miss Aldridge is one of the rare books that delivers.

It does have two timelines but they are both handled well. The settings for both are rich and evocative. The plot twists and turns at every opportunity. The pacing is constant, it never lets up. Most importantly, our heroine is engaging, complex, and very human.

I loved this book and am hoping it is the first in a series.
