The characters become friends and I found myself rooting for them, agonizing with their plights and celebrating with their triumphs. The crafting and creativity is delicious. The love of retro resonated with my own interest, and the memories passed down by the family members were valuable life lessons for everyone.

Bubbly story and performance.

A very refreshing story with lots of likable characters and effervescence. Fun with some life lessons thrown in. The story keeps a nice pace and is not predictable. Very enjoyable.

I felt that this book pulls you and doesn't let you go until the book is over. It was a very engaging story, very vibrant both the story itself and the narration. If you like sewing and fashion this book definitely has it while taking you on a journey through the sewing world and the characters lives themselves.
