Missy has returned to West Point, only to find she must once again rush off to help her buddies at Paranormal Branch. This time, her friend Tracy goes along. One thing leads to another and soon the girls are dealing with international crime organizations and terrorists. They also, of course, must then explain a few things to their boyfriends!

Missy and Tracy certainly have many friends in high places at the US Government, but those friends are finding it harder and harder to keep all the supernatural activities by these girls a secret. And, will any of Missy's adventures affect her career at West Point?

Although this is the fourth book in the series, it held up as a stand alone paranormal mystery. The story itself, two witches who just happen to be West Point Academy.Cadets use their Supernatural Powers to help the U S government in special ops missions. The existence of Supe Nats is highly classified and is controlled by the mysterious “P” Branch, so that Missy and Tracey’s paranormal assistance continues to be top secret. This part of the story is enjoyable.

What I found disconcerting was the inclusion of erotica. Why? There is bit of romance, ok. But why do we need the play by play of lovemaking?

So, I recommend this story if you like intrigue and SPY MOTIF with some good paranormal
activity mixed in, Missy’s Misadventure is a good choice. Be prepared for a bit of erotica though. Thank goodness, it isn’t too often. However, if that is something you enjoy, then it is perfect for you. Overall, it was a good story.
At my request, the author gave me this story in exchange for an honest review.

Witches at West Point? Oh My!

The book starts slowly with major recaps of recent history of Missy’s time in the Middle East, and some time in her early past when she went feral for a time.
Missy is back at West Point, where she is now sharing a room with Tracy, another witch. The story picks up when she goes to Cancun to visit Robert and Millie who are hospitalized while on an investigation. Missy and Tracy end up helping them to heal, and draw out the white slavers who kidnapped the general’s niece and caused the explosion. They travel on to Kabul to rescue Candace. In the meantime, leaks in the p-branch and academy put Missy’s secrets at risk.
Morton does a decent job with narration. Her voice sounded age-appropriate for Missy and her peeps.

This is the fourth Missy the Were-cat book I’ve listened to. As long as P. G. Allison keeps writing them and Summer Morten keeps narrating them I will stay with the series.
Summer Morton is the most accomplished narrator I have ever heard.

This is another fine job. Natalie Holloway needs a Missy to help her. That is what this story is about. Enslaving girls who are on vacation. It took a long time to get to the story as much background was developed during the beginning of the book. Once the story got going though it took you on another roller coaster ride with Missy and her friends. Loved that it included her brother's girlfriend this time and the way the guys are getting along. The narrator was very good and made the story interesting and entertaining.
