From the author of Restart, the story of two boys who are losing their memories... to each other. Reef and Theo don't know what's happening to them. They'll be going about their days and then suddenly they'll have these strange flashes of memory—but the memories don't belong to them. And at the same time, their own memories are starting to... vanish. For Reef, this is a big problem, because memories are all he has left of his mom. For Theo, it's strange because the new memories give him a freedom he doesn't have with his domineering dad.

I liked the story, and the performance. it was easy to follow, and attention grabbing. Covering some heavy life changes, I was glad it was done so respectfully, yet not so heavy that you struggle with the feelings. It was far fetched and fantastic, not unusual with this author, but I really liked it, as I do most of his books. All in all, it's an excellent way to tackle such heavy topics as death and healing while keeping to the idea that it's okay for literature to be fantastic and entertaining.

A story of how two kids who never met happen to be closer than any word describable. Just a perfect story for Korman’s fans.

Every summer before the new school year I read a book with my twins. This summer we read Mixed Up by Gordon Kerman. This book was enjoyable enough but didn’t keep my twins wanting more. The two main characters in this book have never met but are both experiencing each other memories. This Phenomenon is what eventually links them up to find an answer as to why all of this is happening to them. Over all I truly enjoyed the thoughtful story line and how there was one adventure after the other. I definitely would recommend this read for 6th or 7th graders.
