This was made very engaging by the way the author presented the facts of the story

I like this author, and this was the only one of his that I hadn't yet read. the other reviews are appropriately positive--not a dull moment. what did leave something to be desired, however, was the absence of a well-defined protagonist. burton kaplan was kinda wheeled to that end, but he wasn't a big enough character in this drama to make it work. but the story is intrinsically interesting enough, and is also sufficiently wittily told, to make the purchase well-worth it (for mafia-buffs, anyway).

never a dull moment

Peter does a great job with this story. Greg Smith often takes information from court and police reports to create stories like this one and once again he has done a stellar job. Great book!

Cannot beat Peter Berkrot as a narrator!
