What started as a desperate attempt to find Madeline brings power she never imagined a poor girl from Georgia would ever have. It turns out a woman can be a mobster, but she’ll have to give up her heart to do it.

The story and writing was awesome. The narrator was fantastic as usual. The author wrote about interesting historical characters and she nailed it.

A Missing Friend; Decent into the Underworld of the Mob

Erin beautifully tells the narrative of real life Virgina Hill and the fictional story of her search for a missing loved one and her decent and rise within the criminal underworld of the Chicago and New York mob. I listened at every opportunity I had until the credits played. Highly recommend.
