In the glitzy world of Trident Corp, I a bold stand, exposing secrets that would forever alter the corporate landscape and my heart. Banished from the world I knew, I channeled my passion into 'The Sweet Spot,' a sanctuary of delectable pastries and new beginnings. But as the aroma of fresh bakes wrapped the town, shadows from my past—the irresistible Belmont brothers and the vengeful Martin—threatened to pull me back into a whirlwind of intrigue and forbidden desires. Now, caught between ambition, revenge, and scintillating romances, I'm determined to rise, one decadent treat at a time. Contemporary Contemporary Romance Fiction Romance Women's Fiction Heartfelt

It's bad enough that the performance is AI so the story is already in monotone. I can't tell which character is speaking at any moment but what's worse is the repetitive phrases and thought processes. I really wanted to give this book a chance but it's a snooze fest 😴 😪 between the monotone AI reading and the constant repetitive statements in every chapter. I can't continue.

I had to dnf this 📖 😴

Not sure what happened, but from chapter 32 to the end makes no sense. The 1st book was good and most of the this book is ok but it just goes off the rails. What is the ending?

This book is unfinished

Skipped 1/2 the book to the last 2 chapters and still hadn’t skipped anything. Boring!
