Great series

This is by far one of my fav series but it is upsetting to not see any new books for it after all this time. I fear it won't be continued and it really needs to 😞

Mixed Feelings

I feel this book suffers from a bad MC while his minions & creatures are actually interesting.

A good example of this is Ralph. He is a very interesting character with how he evolves & what he remembers. That mystery is nice, but he is a person, not someone pretending badly to be something else.

The MC is dull, uninterested, & a dime a dozen. There just isn't anything special. He says & acts like a basic trope & someone that is trying so hard to be something he isn't but thinking he is simply amazing at it. It grates on me after a while.

The MC also has a Mary Sue problem. All the power in the world & barely anything that challenges or that he has to struggle against. His avatar is....boring. There is no other way to put it.

I don't think I will buy the next one because I just don't see this going better or the MC finally developing a personality.

As far as everything else -

The magic system is interesting
Chars are good except the MC
World building is good

There is just enough good parts to make you want to keep listening if you take the MC out of the picture.

book 3 please

I listen to book one and two back to back and I can't wait for part 3 please continue this story I want to find out how far he goes and does he gets lilthy as one of his ladies.

Neither you are into these type of books or you’re not into it I enjoyed the storyline a lot makes it a bit different than other books would like to see more to come
