Only a tiny percentage of families can afford to send their children to a Montessori school, so, along with her other roles, the author works continually to make the most important elements of a Montessori education available for the home and community.

There is an international crisis and education today, and Montessori theory and practice provides an antidote. As a result, it is the fastest growing method of education in the world. It focuses on the study of the human being at different stages of development and meeting the physical, mental, and emotional needs in an educational setting. The emphasis is on developing skills and adaptability rather than following an academic curriculum, on critical thinking, solving problems, learning how to think and act independently and responsibly, and fostering periods of deep concentration which has been shown to result in kindness and compassion for others.
This is vital because there is no way to predict what professions will be useful in the future.
