The day I showed up to Dax Moody’s sprawling home, I had no idea what was coming. As a traveling massage therapist, I was used to entering the houses of strangers. I was extremely attracted to Dax, and by that time, I was falling hard. Eventually, I’d find out why he’d been so aloof, the reason why he and I could never be together.

Our story was supposed to end there, but it didn’t. Instead, I was left perpetually longing for a forbidden man.

Sweet and endearing story

Loved this story it hits all the feels and ends with the sweetest of all endings. Two people coming together under strange circumstances and developed the purest love neither knows what to do with. Heartbreak forces them to look at themselves and those they love more closely and find that staying apart isn’t an option and they end up finding out the separation was pointless because in the end those they thought would be hurt was hurt far more by the separation than the relationship ever would cause. I absolutely loved the story and plot line. There’s an extremely sweet HEA intense internal struggles and no cliffhanger. Penelope Ward is fantastic as always and this was a fresh take on forbidden romance that was very welcome and an amazing addition to my book list. Unrequited love stories are so much better when she’s written them. The narration was spot on and full of emotion appropriate of this title. Sabastian and Andy always deliver a stellar performance and most of the titles I listen to are titles they narrate as I enjoy their performances most of all. They bring any story to life and I can relate to the story much better when they are narrating versus some others. I give this book 5 stars all the way and highly recommend it to everyone. Would absolutely recommend 1000%

Moody was such a great listen. The angst was gut-wrenching, and the twists were top-notch. There were ups and downs throughout, but they were done so well. I literally have no complaints.
There is a portion where one of our MCs is in another relationship, but I think it was handled well. No cheating between our MCs, which is a big yes from me. Love our loyal King and Queens!

This was definitely something different. But it had a really good storyline and a truly realistic. As always Andi was great she really does it for me

Sweet romantic slow burn

I think this was a wonderful book. I would have liked more hot scenes instead of the slow burn before nearing the end but this did fully captivate my interest the whole book. Great ending of course. 5 plus stars.
