I got this audiobook to listen to with a preschool-aged family member in preparation for an upcoming gardening project. This story is perfect for that! It's cute and concise enough to be a hit with toddlers and preschoolers. As an adult listener, I appreciate how Mordokai turns his fruits and vegetables into enjoyable, shareable delights.

One thing to be prepared for is that the setting is another planet and the growing time seems to be much shorter than the listener will experience in their own gardening efforts. It's something I'll need to prepare my young listener for, but it's all part of the fun of preparing them to begin their own garden.

I recommend this book as an introduction to gardening for toddlers and preschoolers. It doesn't teach how to garden, but it's a great way to help younger children to start talking about gardening and get them excited to grow their own favorite fruits and vegetables.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Cute book to teach children about gardening
