Mosey is born on a chicken farm, into a world of ridicule, only to be the butt of jokes and shunned by a flock of chickens who take pride in their abilities to win trophies at local exhibitions and shows. Not until Mosey meets Rod the rodent, does he learn the significance of his nature. The book is a cliffhanger. Plenty of funny characters with a plot that is able to be appreciated by young adults and adults alike.
