Dumped by his girlfriend, unsure of his place in high school, and distanced from his best friend Halloween Costume (Michael Perez), Mothcatcher is grappling with the messy reality of teenage life.

As he navigates heartbreak, self-doubt, and the harsh social hierarchies of high school, Mothcatcher starts to wonder if things will ever be fun again. Together with Halloween Costume, who has his own scars, Mothcatcher faces questions about friendship, identity, and what it means to grow up.
