Doc Shephard and his crew have hunted demon spawn and preternatural terrors accross the United States since their own encounter with a vampire in the back streets of Boston. Doc's latest mission sends him to a small town in the Old West hunting rumored beasts that stalk the night and threaten the locals beneath the crimson glow of a blood moon.

Caleb’s Folly is a blistered welt of a town which sits a half mile from the oldest and richest silver mine in the United States. The mine dried up over a decade ago and the town has withered little by little each year since.

Home to the unfortunate and desperate, Caleb’s Folly still does a roaring trade in drinking, gambling, and prostitution, and rumors persist of deep veins of silver buried somewhere near the town.

Haunted by the ghosts of a violence past, Caleb's Folly is also witness to the persistence of old magic. It sits uneasily beside the forbidden plains, home to dark predators born beneath the light of the blood moon.

Doc Shephard and his crew are sent to the town by their mysterious benefactor and tasks with hunting down the dark forces which threaten to spill out from Caleb’s Folly and spread their evil throughout the West.
