The legend is real, and it's watching. In Point Pleasant, a terrifying red-eyed creature stalks the night, heralding a dark conspiracy and an unthinkable disaster.

When the infamous Mothman begins to terrorize the small town of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, local deputy Joe Larkin and determined journalist Mary Kline are drawn into a deepening mystery. Their investigation into the red-eyed, winged creature uncovers a sinister government conspiracy stretching back decades, involving secret projects like Project Valkyrie and Project Chiron. They face chilling encounters with the enigmatic Men in Black, who issue dire warnings to abandon their quest.

Prophetic warnings, disturbing visions, eerie animal mutilations, and unexplained disappearances escalate the dread, all pointing towards an impending catastrophe at the Silver Bridge. As Joe and Mary race against time to understand the cryptic symbols and terrifying encounters with entities beyond human comprehension, they must confront a terrifying truth that some will do anything to keep buried.

If you love small-town mysteries steeped in folklore, government conspiracy thrillers, creature features, and edge-of-your-seat supernatural horror, you won't be able to put down Mothman: Shadows Over Point Pleasant. What terrifying secrets does the Mothman hold, and is it a harbinger of doom or a desperate warning of something far worse?

I really liked the movie that came out about event . It actually really scared me in places - not jump scares but idea scares. I didn’t read the book. I bet it’s got a lot of weird stuff in it. This audio book also has some of that. When I leave a theater or finish a book and I keep thinking about the ideas and events in it… that’s the best scare of all, unless it drives you insane .

Mysterious - was this the real story that happened?
